In my opinion, Colon hydrotherapy is one of the world’s best kept secrets!

During my time as a colon hydrotherapist I have had the privilege of introducing and educating hundreds of people from all over the world to the benefits of colonics and the one constant theme I hear is that they all wished that that had known about it waaay sooner!

When the body is full of accumulated waste and toxins, it won’t be able to function at its best. … far from it! Colon Hydrotherapy is a safe and effective way to cleanse the body and help it perform optimally, restoring our vibrant health and wellbeing.

I have found that the simplest way to explain Colon Hydrotherapy is, that it allows the body to come back into balance (Homeostasis). So, whatever is out of balance with you as an individual, it will allow balance to be restored. Cleansing the toxic matter and accumulated waste from your colon, lessens the toxic burden on your body and allows the body to concentrate and heal whatever is out of balance, which will be different for each of us. So, for example, if someone has skin problems such as acne, they may find that having colonics allows their own body to devote energy to healing the reason that the acne is present. I am a believer that given the right conditions, the body can heal itself.

Colon hydrotherapy can also be of benefit to those who consider themselves to be healthy and have regular bowel movements. I personally like to have a colonic once a month as I feel it keeps the burden off my liver and keeps my energy at a good level. During a cleanse I would do more sessions. For people that are in tune with their bodies, your body will tell you when its time!

When you first commence colonics, we advise you to have few sessions and to have them close together. This isn’t a sales tactic, the reason for this, is that if you have a few sessions close together, you capitalise on the hydration of the colon that each session gives you, so essentially you get more bang for your buck so to speak. After a few sessions, you and your therapist will be able to see how things are going in relation to what you wanted to achieve from the treatments and go from there.

Colonics are becoming very popular with professional sports teams and athletes worldwide, and with good reason, as they discover that colon hydrotherapy can assist and improve hydration. Most of our body’s water supply for your blood is absorbed from the colon. If the colon is congested and impacted with toxic matter, the body will not be hydrating optimally.
